TO GO OR NOT TO GO ?
Goshhhhh
Complicated, eh? its tough to decide... Last night I called one of the hostels in there, the one I liked the most from the pics I saw in the internet.. The girl told me that yes, they do have a spare room for a single person... And this is the last room they have left...
weird, isnt it? Sounds as tho as if it was waiting for me...
She said that If I stop at a city called Paranaguá, then from there, 5 minute walk from the bus terminal, I can see the "port" where they have transport - marine to the island. She said that I can take the boat that cruises to the island a 30 minute cruise, and from there I can choose: either walking 4km to the hostel, or take a "taxi-boat" which would ride me til the hostel, I thought it was funny to think of a "taxi-boat",lol But this is the option I would surely choose, as walking 4,000 metres with a backpack doesnt sound nice to me.

The blue spot is the island. There U can see the State of São Paulo just above the State of Paraná. Paraná is where you can see the great waterfalls from Iguaçu. On the left part of the state, next to Paraguay and Argentina. U see the division there? Between the 2 countries? We call that region "Triple frontier border" cos we have in the same place the border with Paraguay and Argentina. In there, beside the waterfalls, u have the hidroelectic stuff. Its name is Itaipú. Itaipú was built in the 70's I think. People say that this is also a "secret" war tool, cos it was built by Brazil and Argentina, and we had some problems with Paraguay in the past, something related to territory, the paraguayans wanted to keep a certain amount of land in that area and so we had to go there and well, u know, "ask" them to leave. So ppl say that the hidro stuff is built in a particular position that if the gates are open, the water from inside it would be enough to drown a very wide part of Paraguay country. Gosh.

This is the Itaipú Hidroconstruction. The light they produce in there is responsible for 80% of the country energy. If something happens to Itaipú, then we would have no electric power here in São Paulo, Rio, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa catarina, Paraná, etc. And also in Argentina. I dont think it is good to count on an unique source of energy. Just imagine if a bomb blows out in there?

This is the wonderful waterfalls just beside Itaipú. Tourists use to admire them a lot, and so do we. I have been there once, with granny. It is really huge, and the sound of the water falling is amazing. There is a boat cruise you can take and ride through the falls down there, but granny was afraid to take me there, damm.

This is the logo of the hidroelectrics. It says: Binational, cos It belongs to Argees too.
Bleargh.
Well... but back to our Island, lol
So.. the thing is: I dunno if I shall go yet. Damm. I hate it when I cant make decisions. It is very tempting to go and live this adventure, just for a change, just to be able to feel alive, and moreover, to wash away with a big tsunami the deep boredom feeling that took over my life.

Loneliness. lol Imagine walking alone, on ur own, thousands of kilometres... You and your thoughts.. only. And the sea birds, the waves, the sun and the sand..

Or maybe walking with someone you love... Just the two of you.. and nothing else matters.

Being able to admire the blue sea... and warm water.
Gosh, its tempting, isnt it?

Seeing the surfers doing their tricks and laughing when they fall from the board, lol

Joining boat cruises around the island and watching dolphins and fishes. - And laughing a lot too.

And, most fun of all, going Jet Skiing!!! It is sooooo cool Last time I went Jet skiing was 4 years ago, in my vacations in Florianópolis. It is so cool. I remember I was with Renato and we fought over who would be in front piloting the jet and then I gave him a big hit with my purse and he let me pilot it, lol
Then, hahahaah, He fell from the jet and I fell too, hahaha And we laughed so much cos it is really hard to climb into the jet again when you are in the sea, you dont have anywhere to step and pull urself to it, so we tried, tried, tried, and I began to laugh, hahaahah That scene was very ridiculous, lol And most fun of all was that Renato started to get irritated and shouting: "Stop laughing!!! We are going to be screwed if we cannot climb into the jet again!!" And it made me laugh even more, hahahaha
Then he said that I was the guilty for letting him fell, hahaahah Cos I was piloting it, hahahaahah I said: "If u cant hold my waist hard enough and u fell, this is ur problem, i will pilot it again, lol" He says I am crazy, lol
But gosh, good memories. I was happy and didnt know about it, lol
Observation: We kept on falling from it many times, and I had big laughs, lol
